The Challenge
Manage pickups and movement of metal panels from ATM centre’s attached to bank branches, located in remote areas, districts and out of city limits to company warehouse situated at metro city.

• Co-ordination with branch managers and circle co-coordinators.
• Non-awareness amongst many of them, that Satellite has been assigned the work of   collecting the material.
• In some situations, despite confirmation received in advance, they would not hand   over the material to us.
• Checklist of primary contacts of branch personnel were not updated.

Satellite Solution
Using reverse logistics, consolidation of material collected from multiple bank sites and stored at our hubs and transporting of all metal panels collected to client warehouse.

Our step wise solution is summarized below:
Test run through the list of primary contacts relating to branch sites and contacted every person to get an advance sign off and confirmation for picking up the material.

Getting the list updated on account of transfers, separation and retirement of branch managers and sharing with the client.

Educating and making the branch managers aware that we are the logistic partner of the client assigned to pick up the metal panel from the branch site.

Providing MIS and updating the client on the project status for review and action.

Consolidation of material at various nearest hubs and final movement of the material collected to client warehouse in the metro city.
